Jr. PRODUCT ENGINEER - AEROSPACE

Location: Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh

CTC: Up to 7.0 LPA

Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or any equivalent Engineering discipline.

The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with cross-functional teams, suppliers and customers to support product development activities and ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D models, assemblies and engineering drawings using CAD software.
• Coordinate with design, manufacturing, quality, suppliers and customers throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Review engineering specifications, drawings and customer requirements.
• Support new product development, process improvements and engineering change management.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and product records.
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure product manufacturability and quality compliance.
• Participate in product validation, testing and inspection activities.
• Monitor project timelines and support successful execution of engineering projects.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Minimum 2 years of experience in 3D modelling using CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, or Siemens NX.
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and Creo is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams, suppliers and customers.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to work extensively on SolidWorks and Creo platforms.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in Aerospace components, standards and documentation.
• Exposure to Investment Casting processes and products.
• Knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods such as X-Ray Inspection, Penetrant Testing, etc.
• Familiarity with Destructive Testing methods such as Tensile Testing, Stress Rupture Testing and Mechanical Testing.
• Understanding of quality management systems and standards such as ISO 9001 and AS9100.
• Project management knowledge and experience will be an added advantage.
