• 3+ years in Data Centre Presales, Solution Architecture, or Technical Consulting.
• Hands-on knowledge of products from at least 2 leading OEMs (Dell, HPE, NetApp, IBM, Hitachi, EMC).
• SAN/NAS architectures, sizing (IOPS/TPS), DC/DR workflows, multi-OS environments.
• Strong presentation and customer-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise server and storage solutions based on customer requirements.

Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Presales Consultant (Data Centre) to drive technical solutioning and business growth. In this role, you will collaborate with customers to understand their infrastructure needs, architect server and storage solutions, formulate accurate Bills of Materials (BoM), and deliver technical presentations.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Architecture & Sizing: Design and architect enterprise server and storage solutions. Translate customer business requirements into technical specs by calculating Processor cores, RAM, TPS/IOPS, and storage tiering.
• OEM Tool Usage: Hands-on experience using configuration and sizing tools across leading OEMs (Dell, HPE, NetApp, IBM, Hitachi, Pure Storage, etc.).
• BoM Formulation: Prepare detailed Bill of Materials (BoM), technical write-ups, commercial spacing, and proposal documents for client RFPs/RFIs.
• Storage & Data Protection: Demonstrate technical expertise in SAN virtualization, clustering, snapshot replication/SnapMirror, storage tiering, and deduplication.
• DC/DR & BCP Design: Design Data Centre (DC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) architectures, workflows, and basic disaster recovery scripts with Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
• Workload & OS Management: Basic understanding of SAP Sizing for servers/storage and familiarity with major operating systems (MS Windows Server, RHEL, AIX).
• Client Engagement: Deliver technical presentations, lead solution pitching, and act as a trusted advisor to key technical stakeholders.

Qualifications & Key Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3+ years in Data Centre Presales, Solution Architecture, or Technical Consulting.
• OEM Multi-Vendor Exposure: Hands-on working knowledge of products from at least 2 leading OEMs (Dell, HPE, NetApp, IBM, Hitachi, or EMC).
• Technical Skills: SAN/NAS architectures, storage sizing (IOPS/TPS), DC/DR workflows, server efficiency management, and multi-OS environments (Windows, RHEL, AIX).
• Soft Skills: Outstanding presentation, written communication, and customer-facing skills.

Preferred Certifications (Added Advantage):

• HPE Master ASE / ASE (Storage or Compute)
• Dell PowerEdge / PowerStore Technical Professional
