Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in PLC programming.
• Experience with HMI and SCADA development.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP).

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy PLC programs across multiple platforms (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Mitsubishi, Omron, Beckhoff).
• Design and configure HMI interfaces and SCADA systems for data acquisition and remote monitoring.
• Integrate PLCs with sensors, actuators, motors, VFDs, and robotic systems; troubleshoot and ensure robust communication.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled PLC Application Engineer to design, develop, and implement industrial automation solutions using Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, troubleshooting, and optimizing control systems for industrial applications. This role requires expertise in PLC programming, HMI development, SCADA systems, industrial communication protocols, and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities :

PLC Programming & Development :

• Develop, test, and deploy PLC programs using Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Mitsubishi, Omron, or Beckhoff platforms.
• Write and debug Ladder Logic, Structured Text (ST), and Function Block Diagram (FBD) programs.

HMI & SCADA Development :

• Design and configure Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI) for seamless user interaction.
• Develop and integrate SCADA systems for data acquisition and remote monitoring.

System Integration & Troubleshooting :

• Integrate PLCs with sensors, actuators, motors, VFDs, and robotic systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in industrial control systems.
• Ensure smooth communication between PLCs and other automation components using Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, CANopen, etc.

Testing & Commissioning :

• Conduct on-site and remote commissioning of automation systems.
• Perform functional and acceptance testing to validate system performance.

Documentation & Compliance: :

• Create and maintain technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, program logic, and operational manuals.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations (e.g., IEC, NFPA, OSHA).

Collaboration & Support: :

• Work closely with design engineers, maintenance teams, and clients to develop tailored automation solutions.
• Provide technical support and training to end users.
