Job summary

MackSmaTec India is seeking an experienced PLC Programmer to lead industrial automation projects. You will be responsible for PLC programming, HMI/SCADA development, commissioning, and troubleshooting on site.

The role requires 10+ years of hands-on experience, deep knowledge of Siemens/Mitsubishi/Allen-Bradley platforms, and ability to mentor junior engineers. Travel to client sites will be required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in industrial automation projects.
• Expertise in PLC programming, HMI/SCADA development, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Ability to independently handle automation projects and mentor juniors.
• Experience with greenfield and brownfield projects, and site travels.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain PLC programs for industrial systems.
• Design and configure HMI/SCADA systems per project needs.
• Lead FAT, SAT, commissioning, and site start-up activities.
• Troubleshoot PLC/ drives / instrumentation and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and project teams on site.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation; ensure timelines and quality.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced PLC Programmer with 10+ years of hands-on experience in industrial automation projects. The candidate will be responsible for PLC programming, HMI/SCADA development, commissioning, troubleshooting, and independent handling of automation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain PLC programs for industrial automation systems
• Design, development and configuration HMI/SCADA systems as per project requirements
• Perform FAT, SAT, commissioning, and site start-up activities
• Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, drives, and field instrumentation issues
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and project teams at site
• Prepare and maintain project documentation
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality, and safety standards
• Support breakdown analysis, system optimization, and upgrades
• Guide and mentor junior engineers when required
