Larsen & Toubro Limited is seeking an Engineer/Junior Engineer for Plant & Machinery management and maintenance. Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) with at least 1 project experience in handling construction equipment is desired.

You will supervise operation, maintenance, and deployment of heavy equipment, plan preventive & breakdown maintenance, and maintain logs and utilization reports on-site across projects.

• Experience in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems and heavy equipment functioning.

Aufgaben

• Manage and supervise operation, maintenance, and deployment of construction equipment.
• Ensure availability and optimal utilization of machinery such as cranes, launching equipment, batching plants, and other heavy equipment.
• Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of all plant and machinery.
• Monitor equipment performance, productivity, and downtime.
• Maintain records of equipment logs, maintenance schedules, and utilization reports.
• Coordinate with site teams for timely mobilization and demobilization of equipment.
• Ensure all machinery complies with safety standards, statutory requirements, and certifications.
• Oversee fuel consumption, spare parts management, and cost control.
• Support troubleshooting and technical issue resolution at site.
• Ensure proper handling and operation by trained and authorized personnel.
