Job summary

Pioneer Cranes & Elevators in Punjab, India is seeking a Senior Plant Operations Manager to lead and optimize crane manufacturing plant operations. You will oversee production planning, ensure timely delivery, and coordinate across design, production, purchase, stores, quality, maintenance, and dispatch teams.

The role emphasizes eliminating bottlenecks, maintaining high-quality standards, and providing regular MIS and performance reports to the Director.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall operations of the crane manufacturing plant.
• Plan and execute production schedules as per customer requirements and committed delivery timelines.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve productivity and throughput.
• Ensure smooth coordination between design, production, purchase, stores, quality, maintenance, and dispatch teams.
• Take overall responsibility for timely execution of crane orders from production planning through dispatch.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely resolution of technical and production issues.
• Coordinate with the engineering/design team for drawing changes, technical clarifications, and manufacturing feasibility.
• Ensure cranes are manufactured according to approved drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Establish and maintain high-quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
• Coordinate with the Quality team to minimize rejection, rework, and customer complaints.
• Provide regular MIS and plant performance reports to Director.
• Present production status, order progress, capacity utilization, quality performance, cost, and delivery performance.
