Job summary

Metcostampings in India seeks a Plant Head with expertise in horizontal aluminium die casting and CNC turning to lead manufacturing operations. You will drive production schedules, ensure on-time delivery, and manage safety, quality, and cost controls on the shop floor.

You will oversee maintenance programs, develop the team, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and output while maintaining compliance with applicable standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in plant management for aluminium die casting and CNC turning environments.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of delivering on production schedules.
• Hands-on experience with safety, quality, and cost-control in a manufacturing setting.

PLANT HEAD, having knowledge with horizontal aluminium die casting, and CNC turning.

Role & responsibilities

• Production Management: Oversee manufacturing workflows, execute production schedules, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Safety and Compliance: Enforce workplace safety rules, regulatory standards, and environmental compliance.
• Quality Control: Maintain high product quality standards and minimize waste, rejections, and rework.
• Budget and Cost Control: Manage operational expenses, track financial performance, and hit target budgets.
• Maintenance and Asset Management: Implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce machine downtime and equipment breakdowns.
• Team Leadership: Hire, train, and motivate supervisors and staff while tracking performance metrics.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive process optimization, efficiency initiatives, and technological upgrades on the shop floor
