Job summary

CIEL HR in Odisha, India is seeking a Lead Plant Operations Manager to drive production, quality, safety, and cost targets while ensuring Defence & Aerospace standards compliance.

You will oversee Production, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, and Dispatch, push Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, optimize OEE and on-time delivery, and manage budgets and workforce.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end plant operations including Production, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, and Dispatch.
• Drive productivity, OEE, capacity utilization, cost optimization, and on-time delivery.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100D, ISO standards, statutory regulations, and customer requirements.
• Lead audits, quality initiatives, and maintain a zero-defect and zero-incident culture.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, and automation initiatives.
• Manage plant budgets, reduce waste, and improve operational profitability.
• Lead workforce management, employee engagement, performance culture, and industrial relations.
• Implement Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with SCM, Procurement, Logistics, and Sales for smooth operations.
• Liaise with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and key stakeholders.
