Job summary

Pragati Infra Solutions in India seeks a seasoned Planning & Scheduling professional to manage master schedules, baselines and micro plans using Primavera P6 or MS Project. The role focuses on tracking progress, managing risks, and aligning site execution with approved baselines.

You will coordinate with design, procurement and construction teams, generate regular MIS reports and support billing and delay claims documentation when required.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and scheduling with Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Ability to develop master schedules, baselines, milestones and cash flow forecasts.
• Identifies critical paths and schedule risks with recovery plans.
• Tracks progress and ensures alignment with site execution.
• Supports cost-loaded schedules and cash flow monitoring.
• Generates MIS reports, dashboards and EVA analyses.
• Collaborates with design, procurement, contracts and construction teams.
• Supports EOT, delays analysis and claims documentation when required.

Job description

Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Planning & Scheduling

• Prepare and maintain master schedules, baseline programs, detailed construction schedules, and micro-level execution plans using Primavera P6 / MS Project.


• Develop project milestones, phase-wise schedules, and cash flow forecasts.


• Identify critical paths and potential schedule risks.


• Prepare revised, recovery, and catch-up schedules as required.

2. Progress Monitoring & Control

• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly progress against approved baselines.


• Conduct schedule variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.


• Track delays due to drawings, approvals, client instructions, design changes, or site constraints.


• Ensure alignment between planning schedules and site execution.

3. Resource & Cost Coordination

• Coordinate with project teams for manpower, material, and equipment planning.


• Assist commercial and billing teams in cost-loaded schedules and cash flow monitoring.


• Support budget control through schedule-linked cost tracking.

4. MIS & Reporting

• Prepare and circulate weekly, fortnightly, and monthly MIS reports.


• Generate progress reports, S-curves, histograms, dashboards, and EVA reports.


• Present project status to senior management, clients, consultants, and lenders.

5. Billing Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with Design, Procurement, Contracts, QA/QC, and Construction teams.


• Ensure compliance with contractual planning and reporting requirements.


• Billing, Support Extension of Time (EOT), delay analysis, and claims documentation when required.

6. Risk Management & Governance

• Identify schedule-related risks and develop mitigation plans.


• Track long-lead items, statutory approvals, and interfaces impacting timelines.


• Support audits, lender monitoring, and third-party project reviews.

Authority & Decision Making

• Recommend planning strategies, sequencing, and recovery measures.


• Validate project schedules and progress reports before submission.


• Escalate critical schedule risks to senior management.
