Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a Project Lead – Planning in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The role focuses on preparing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules to ensure timely delivery through proactive risk mitigation and coordination with execution teams.

You will support cost control, minimize delays, optimize resources, and deliver accurate progress reports to management and clients, driving continuous improvement in planning practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience (project management, construction, engineering)
• Strong understanding of project planning concepts and scheduling best practices
• Experience with planning tools and software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, or similar) is desirable

Responsibilities

• Prepare baseline and detailed project schedules.
• Track progress and analyze schedule variances.
• Prepare recovery and mitigation plans.
• Coordinate with construction, MEP and procurement teams.
• Conduct weekly and monthly project reviews.
• Prepare MIS reports and dashboards.

Job description

The Project Lead – Planning is responsible for preparation, monitoring and control of project schedules for assigned projects. The role ensures timely delivery through effective planning, progress tracking, coordination with execution teams and proactive risk mitigation.
