Job summary

Unique MEP Projects Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Planning team member to support project execution through scheduling, coordination, documentation, and reconciliation activities for fire fighting and utility process piping projects.

The role requires a strong technical understanding, structured follow-up, and effective coordination with clients and internal teams to ensure timely progress and accurate documentation. 4–5 years of relevant planning experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education in mechanical engineering or diploma is required.
• 4–5 years of experience in planning and coordination for MEP projects.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD drawings and project documentation is essential.

Responsibilities

• Review AutoCAD drawings (P&ID, shop, GA) for fire fighting and utility piping.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules using MSP.
• Prepare technical data sheets per project/client requirements.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely progress.
• Draft emails and maintain follow-up with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Prepare reconciliation statements and track planning data.
• Support planning, reporting, and execution tracking for ongoing projects.

Role overview

The Planning team member will support project execution through scheduling, coordination, documentation, and reconciliation activities for fire fighting and utility process piping projects. The role requires strong technical understanding, structured follow-up, and effective coordination with clients and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review and understand AutoCAD drawings, including P&ID, shop drawings, GA drawings, and related technical drawings, especially for fire fighting and utility process piping.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules in Microsoft Project (MSP).
• Prepare technical data sheets as per project and client requirements.
• Coordinate effectively with clients and internal teams to ensure timely progress of project activities.
• Draft professional emails and maintain strong follow-up with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare project reconciliation statements and track planning-related project data.
• Support planning, reporting, and execution tracking for ongoing projects.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of AutoCAD drawings and project drawing interpretation.
• Working knowledge of fire fighting systems and utility process piping.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Strong email drafting, communication, and follow-up skills.

Preferred candidate profile

The ideal candidate is a mechanically qualified professional with 4–5 years of relevant experience in planning and coordination for MEP, fire fighting, or utility piping projects. The candidate should be organized, responsive, technically aware, and comfortable handling both documentation and stakeholder coordination.
