Job summary

Siddhi Construction is seeking a proactive Planning Engineer (Civil) with 3–5 years of core experience in Industrial Civil Construction to lead baseline scheduling, WBS, and progress tracking across Surat and Navsari projects.

You will develop micro-schedules, cash-flow projections, and delay analyses using Primavera P6, MS Project, and ERP systems, coordinating closely with site teams and clients to keep projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Mandatory).
• 3–5 years of experience in Industrial Civil Construction (corporate background preferred).
• Experience with ERP software and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop baseline project master schedules and WBS.
• Generate DPR/WPR/MPR to track progress against baselines.
• Estimate labor, material, machinery, and subcontractor needs.
• Prepare cash-flow projections and monitor costs.

Job description

We are looking for a proactive Planning Engineer (Civil) with 3 to 5 years of core experience in Industrial Civil Construction projects. In this role, you will be responsible for overall project planning, baseline scheduling, resource allocation, and continuous progress monitoring. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience creating micro-schedules, cash-flow projections, delay analyses, and progress reports (DPR/WPR/MPR) using modern construction ERP software and planning tools, with a preference for candidates from corporate background organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Scheduling & Project Planning: Develop baseline project master schedules, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), milestones, and look-ahead plans for industrial civil construction projects.
• Progress Tracking & Reporting: Generate Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Progress Reports (DPR, WPR, MPR) to track physical vs. financial progress against baseline schedules.
• Resource & Procurement Planning: Estimate and monitor labor, material, machinery, and subcontractor requirements. Prepare procurement plans aligned with project execution timelines.
• Cash-Flow & Financial Control: Prepare cash-flow projections, monitor budget vs. actual costs, and track project milestones for billing alignment.
• Micro-Scheduling & Catch-Up Plans: Create detailed micro-schedules, conduct delay analyses (S-curves, critical path analysis), and design recovery/catch-up plans for lagging milestones.
• Documentation & Site Coordination: Coordinate closely with site engineers, clients, subcontractors, and corporate teams to resolve bottlenecks and streamline project execution.
• ERP & Systems: Maintain real-time project updates and tracking using Construction ERP software.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Mandatory).
• Experience: 3 to 5 years strictly in Industrial Civil Construction projects (corporate background preferred).
• Technical Skills:
• In-depth understanding of BOQ, WBS, milestones, resource levelling, S-curve analysis, and baseline scheduling.
• Practical expertise in look-ahead schedules, cash-flow forecasting, procurement planning, and delay analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Construction ERP software and project management tools (Primavera P6 / MS Project / MS Excel).
• Soft Skills: Excellent reporting, cross-functional site coordination, delay mitigation, and documentation skills.
• Location: Open to managing operations across Surat and Navsari sites.
