Job summary

L&T Technology Services in Bengaluru seeks a lead Physical Design Engineer to drive end-to-end PD from netlist to GDSII. You will own floorplanning, power, placement, CTS, routing, STA, ECO, and signoff while steering timing closure and mitigating issues like congestion, IR drop and EMI.

You will collaborate with RTL, CAD/EDA teams and mentor junior engineers, developing automation scripts to streamline flows and improve reliability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in physical design from netlist to GDSII.
• Strong understanding of floorplanning, power planning, placement, CTS and routing.
• Proficient in timing closure, signoff, and ECO processes.
• Experience addressing congestion, IR drop, EM, noise, SI, DRC/LVS issues.
• Ability to review physical verification and provide technical guidance.

Job description

• Provide technical guidance, reviews, and mentoring to junior engineers.
