Job summary

LeadSOC Technologies Pvt Ltd in Bengaluru seeks a hands-on ASIC Physical Design Engineer to implement physical design flows, perform floorplanning, clock planning, placement, routing and timing closure to ensure design integrity and performance.

You will collaborate with peers, drive sign-off processes, and apply scripting to automate tasks while leveraging Innovus, ICC2, LEC, PrimeTime and Calibre. Strong Tcl/Perl/C/C++ skills and experience with large-scale designs are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Familiar with EDA tools: ICC, ICCII, INNOVUS/Innovus, and other industry-standard tools.
• ASIC flow knowledge and experience in the standard ASIC design cycle.
• Proficient in Tcl, Perl, scripting, C and C++ programming languages.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work proactively and responsibly.
• Experience with large-scale designs (greater than 2 million instances) preferred.
• Top-level physical design experience and advanced node tapeout desirable.

• Physical Design Implementation and Methodology: Engage in the implementation of physical design, develop methodologies, and manage sign-off processes.
• Core Design Tasks: Execute floorplanning, clock planning, placement and routing, timing closure, and physical verification to ensure design integrity and performance.
• Project Management: Oversee project schedules, troubleshoot design and workflow issues, and drive methodological improvements and execution strategies.
• Collaborative Teamwork: Work collaboratively with team members to successfully complete projects within designated timelines.
• Programming Skills: Utilize programming skills to effectively complete tasks, with a focus on scripting and automation to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Proficiency in EDA Tools: Demonstrate proficiency in using Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools such as Innovus, ICC2, LEC, PrimeTime, Calibre, among others.

Requirement:-
