Job summary

PF Expert Consultant in Mumbai seeks a hands-on PF liaison to support employees with EPFO processes. The role emphasizes field visits, grievance resolution, and precise documentation to resolve complex cases.

Responsibilities

• Guide employees through PF withdrawals (Form 19), pension (Form 10C), and advance claims (Form 31).
• Manage UAN activation and member portal tasks (KYC seeding, passbooks).
• Provide advisory support on PF balances and documentation requirements.

Job description

Role & Responsibilities

• Field Visits to Mumbai PF Offices: Conduct regular, hands-on visits to regional EPFO offices across Mumbai (such as Bandra, Kandivali, Thane, Vashi, and Nariman Point) to follow up on stuck files, submit physical Joint Declarations, and resolve escalated employee cases.
• Grievance Redressal: File and aggressively monitor complaints on the EPFiGMS portal, and coordinate directly with local PF office field officers to expedite delayed approvals.
• KYC & Profile Corrections: Resolve member data mismatches (Name, DOB, Father's Name, or Date of Exit errors) by preparing accurate documentation and coordinating between the employee, previous employers, and the EPFO.
• Claim Processing Support: Guide individual employees through online PF withdrawals (Form 19), pension settlements (Form 10C), and advance claims (Form 31), ensuring minimal rejection rates.
• UAN & Member Portal Management: Manage individual employee portals for UAN activation, KYC seeding (Aadhaar, PAN, Bank), and merging multiple member IDs/passbooks.
• Client Advisory: Provide clear, empathetic consultation to individual clients regarding their PF balances, interest calculations, and documentation requirements.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Mumbai Liaisoning Experience: 1 to 4 years of practical experience handling employee-side PF issues, with a proven track record of directly visiting and navigating EPFO offices in the Mumbai region.
• Local Knowledge: Thorough understanding of the specific documentation formats and submission processes required by different Mumbai-area PF offices.
• Communication Skills: Fluency in Hindi and Marathi/English to effectively communicate with both corporate clients and regional EPFO desk staff.
• Problem-Solving Ability: Deep familiarity with EPFO circulars, common rejection codes, and the exact workarounds needed to clear blocked claims.
• Joining Timeline: Immediate joiners who are ready to start field visits right away will receive strict preference.
