People Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a well-organized, detail-oriented, and proactive People Operations Coordinator to join our team in Pune. This role will support end-to-end HR Operations, including onboarding, employee lifecycle management, HR documentation, attendance and records management, and coordination with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage employee onboarding activities, documentation, induction coordination, and verification processes
• Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and personnel files accurately
• Handle attendance tracking, leave management, shift schedules, and system updates through Zoho People or similar HRIS tools
• Support HR compliance requirements including policy documentation, audit readiness, and record upkeep
• Coordinate with internal teams and leadership regarding HR requests, data updates, and employee engagement activities
• Provide assistance on grievance handling, query resolution, and escalation follow-through
• Generate HR reports, dashboards, MIS, and analytics as required
• Ensure confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive HR data and employee information
• Assist in execution of HR operational improvements and workflow enhancements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 5 to 6 years of experience in HR operations or employee lifecycle management
• Mandatory working knowledge of Zoho People / Zoho HRMS for HR-related workflows
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable managing structured processes
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting HR for global or RPO organizations
• Understanding of HR compliance frameworks, onboarding best practices, and documentation standards
• Ability to multitask and prioritize without needing close supervision
