Job summary

JobItUs in Maharashtra, India, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer/Technician for PDC (Pressure Die Casting) equipment. The role requires 1–5 years in PDC or die casting machine maintenance, with hands-on knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, sensors, motors, and control panels.

You will handle preventive and breakdown maintenance, troubleshoot issues, monitor performance, keep records, and collaborate with Production and Quality teams.

Qualifications

• ItI/ Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• 1–5 years in PDC / die casting / machine maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Basic knowledge of electrical troubleshooting, sensors,. motors and control panels.
• Good problem solving and breakdown handling skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts.

Responsibilities

• Handle preventive and breakdown maintenance of PDC machines and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical problems in PDC machines.
• Monitor machine performance and minimize downtime.
• Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders, motors, sensors, and control panels.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance as per schedule.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain breakdown records, preventive maintenance reports, and spare-parts inventory.
• Coordinate with Production and Quality teams for smooth operation.
• Support installation, commissioning, and modification of PDC equipment.
• Follow 5S, safety standards, and preventive maintenance practices.

Key Responsibilities
