Job summary

Madras Engineering Industries PVT LTD, based in Mahindra World City, Chennai, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer/Supervisor to lead preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of CNC, VMC, and SPM machinery.

You will coordinate with Production to minimize downtime, implement TPM, maintain spares, and ensure safety and 5S compliance, with 5-10 years experience and a Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining CNC, VMC, and SPM machines.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and spindle systems.
• Experience implementing TPM and preventive maintenance.
• Proficient in RCA and continuous improvement.
• Strong documentation and ERP/Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of CNC, VMC, SPM, and utility equipment.
• Ensure maximum machine uptime through maintenance planning and execution.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical issues related to hydraulics, pneumatics, spindles, and lubrication systems.
• Coordinate with Production to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Monitor machine health and implement TPM and preventive maintenance practices.
• Ensure availability of critical spares and maintain maintenance records.
• Enforce safety, 5S, and statutory compliance across the maintenance department.
