Job summary

Matrix Robotics in Jaipur, Rajasthan, seeks a Maintenance Engineer to manage Electrical and Mechanical maintenance of CNC/VMC machines and other machine-shop equipment. You will be responsible for preventive and breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting, machine uptime, and ensuring smooth production operations.

Responsibilities include preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance; electrical and mechanical fault repair; maintenance of control panels, motors, drives, PLCs, sensors, and safety

Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI / BE / B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical.
• 3+ years of relevant CNC/VMC machine-shop maintenance experience preferred.
• Willingness to perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of CNC, VMC and other machine-shop equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical faults in machines.
• Maintain CNC/VMC control panels, motors, sensors, drives, PLCs, contactors, relays, SMPS and electrical circuits.
• Troubleshoot servo motors, servo drives, spindle drives, encoders and sensors.
• Carry out mechanical maintenance of spindles, ball screws, bearings and lubrication systems.
• Attend machine breakdowns and minimize downtime; provide root-cause analysis.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to handle Electrical & Mechanical maintenance of CNC/VMC machines and other machine-shop equipment. The candidate will be responsible for preventive and breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting, machine uptime, and ensuring smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of CNC, VMC and other machine-shop equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical faults in machines.
• Handle maintenance of CNC/VMC control panels, motors, sensors, drives, PLCs, contactors, relays, SMPS, and electrical circuits.
• Troubleshoot servo motors, servo drives, spindle drives, encoders, proximity sensors and limit switches.
• Carry out mechanical maintenance of spindles, ball screws, guideways, bearings, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, gearboxes, lubrication systems and cooling systems.
• Attend machine breakdowns and minimize machine downtime.
• Perform root-cause analysis of recurring machine failures and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and machine maintenance records.
• Coordinate with Production for breakdowns, maintenance planning and machine availability.
• Ensure proper use of PPE, LOTO and safety procedures during maintenance activities.
• Maintain critical spare-parts inventory and coordinate with stores/purchase for required spares.
• Support installation, commissioning, shifting and modification of machines when required.
• Identify opportunities for improving machine reliability and reducing maintenance costs.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in CNC & VMC machine maintenance.
• Good knowledge of Electrical & Mechanical troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of PLC, HMI, AC/DC drives and servo systems.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and breakdown analysis.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and under production pressure.

Qualification

• Diploma / ITI / BE / B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical
• 3+ years of relevant experience in CNC/VMC machine-shop maintenance preferred.
