Anyworks In is seeking a technically skilled Maintenance Technician to oversee all maintenance activities at a Water Treatment products manufacturing plant, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production equipment, utilities, and facility systems.
You will coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, work with Production, Quality, Engineering and EHS teams, and drive continuous improvement to maximize equipment availability and product quality.
We are looking for technically skilled candidates with excellent attention to detail for the position of Maintenance Technician.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for all maintenance activities in a Water Treatment products manufacturing plant to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production equipment, utilities, and facility systems.
This position encompasses various maintenance tasks, coordinating both preventive and corrective maintenance efforts, and collaborating closely with the Production, Quality, Engineering, and EHS teams to ensure high equipment availability, product quality, and continuous improvement.
1) Maintenance involves inspecting, repairing, and maintaining machines, equipment, and building systems, including tasks such as routine preventive maintenance, diagnosing malfunctions, and fixing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or structural issues.
2) Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and instrumentation-related issues
3) Coordinate with Production and Engineering to minimize downtime and support smooth manufacturing flow
4) Ensure compliance with safety procedures, LOTO, plant standards, and statutory requirements
5) Support reliability improvement, energy efficiency, and cost reduction initiatives
6) Participate in shutdowns, preventive maintenance schedules, and emergency repairs.
7) Oversee installation, repair, and upkeep of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, and general facilities.
8) Ensure proper functioning of plant machinery, equipment, and utilities.
9) Monitor maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
10) Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, costs, and inspections.
11) Planned PPM for the Respective machine will be carried out and records will be maintained.
12) Identify and resolve equipment-related issues proactively.
13) Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
14) Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability.
15) Prepare maintenance reports and communicate with management regularly.
16) Monitoring the Adherence of using Safety PPE will be monitored all over the shop floor.
17) Handling AMC Vendors for on time services of the machines.
18) Maintaining and updating Breakdown, MTTR and MTBF Reports 19) Supporting Design and production team.
20) Maintaining Compressor health and pneumatic lines in Shop Floor.
21) Supporting NPD and Admin activities.
22) Commissioning and Movement Activities of New or Existing Machines.
1) Qualification ITI or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related discipline
2) 4 to 6 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
3) Strong knowledge of plant and machinery maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance practices.
4) Strong skills in maintenance planning, scheduling, breakdown analysis, and preventive/predictive maintenance.
5) Good knowledge of maintenance documentation, spare parts management, and maintenance records.
6) Thorough understanding of safety procedures, statutory requirements, and good maintenance practices.
7) Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
8) Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Water Treatment Products manufacturing or similar industrial operations, will be an added advantage.
9) Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
10) Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, utilities, pneumatics, hydraulics, and industrial maintenance practices
