Job summary

Carryfast is seeking an experienced payroll professional to own end-to-end payroll for 1000+ on-roll employees across multiple states. You will ensure accurate, timely salary disbursement, compliance with statutory filings, and final approval before each payroll run.

You will manage HRMS payroll module configuration, handle audits, and present payroll cost MIS monthly to HR and Finance. The role demands meticulous processes, confidentiality, and coordination with vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end payroll for multi-state operations.
• Knowledge of PF, ESI, TDS, PT, LWF and related compliance.
• Proficiency with HRMS/payroll software and process improvements.
• Strong audit/compliance mindset and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve monthly payroll before disbursement.
• Own payroll calendar and ensure zero delays in salary credit.
• Manage HRMS payroll module configuration, updates, and vendor coordination.
• Sign off on all statutory filings PF, ESI, TDS, PT, LWF across states.
• Handle payroll audits — internal, statutory, and client audits.
• Approve all full and final settlement computations.
• Present payroll cost MIS to HR Manager and Finance monthly.
• Respond to notices from PF, ESI, and Income Tax departments.

• Own payroll calendar and ensure zero delays in salary credit


• Manage HRMS payroll module configuration, updates, and vendor coordination


• Sign off on all statutory filings PF, ESI, TDS, PT, LWF across states


• Handle payroll audits — internal, statutory, and client audits


• Approve all full and final settlement computations


• Present payroll cost MIS to HR Manager and Finance monthly

Secondary Responsibilities

• Respond to notices from PF, ESI, and Income Tax departments


• Manage payroll vendor relationships and SLA adherence


• Design and improve payroll processes for efficiency


• Guide team on complex calculations — gratuity, bonus, arrears


• Ensure data confidentiality and payroll security protocols


• Handle Grievances.
