Job summary

Allengers Medical Systems is seeking a Paint Quality Inspector to monitor and control quality across pretreatment, CED, base and top coat stages. You will inspect defects, track process parameters and ensure adherence to quality standards in a high-volume paint shop.

Responsibilities include daily quality reporting, CAPA implementation and collaboration with Production, Maintenance and Engineering to resolve defects. Familiarity with IATF/ISO audits and continuous improvement tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Paint shop process knowledge across liquid painting, powder coating and CED.
• Ability to identify paint defects and troubleshoot defects.
• Knowledge of DFT and gloss measurement.
• Color shade inspection and matching.
• Familiarity with SPC, PFMEA and quality systems.
• Experience with 5-Why, 8D and Fishbone for root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Monitor paint shop quality at pretreatment, CED, primer, base coat and top coat stages.
• Inspect painted parts for defects (orange peel, sagging, runs, pinholes, blisters, dust, fisheyes, shade variation and uneven coating).
• Monitor DFT/WFT, gloss, color/shade, adhesion, appearance and curing parameters.
• Check and maintain paint process parameters such as pH, conductivity, viscosity, temperature and chemical concentration.
• Conduct first-piece, in-process and final quality inspections.
• Analyze daily rejection, rework and defect data and identify major defect contributors.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis using 5-Why, Fishbone, 8D and other QC tools.
• Implement and monitor CAPA for internal and customer quality issues.
• Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Engineering and Paint/Chemical suppliers for defect resolution.
• Maintain Control Plan, PFMEA, SOP/WI, inspection standards and quality records.
• Support SPC, MSA, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, 5S and continuous improvement.
• Handle customer complaints, containment activities and corrective-action reports.
• Support internal, customer and IATF/ISO audits.
• Monitor paint-material quality and support trials for new paints, colors, chemicals and process changes.
• Prepare daily/monthly quality reports, rejection analysis, PPM and improvement reports.
• Train inspectors/operators on paint defects, inspection standards and quality procedures.
