Job summary

Johoku Manufacturing seeks a skilled Paint Shop Supervisor to drive production targets and ensure disciplined shop floor operations in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu. You will lead manpower, train operators, and manage spray painting parameters, booth conditions, pretreatment, and rework workflows while coordinating with Quality and Maintenance teams.

The role requires hands-on analysis of defects, root-cause troubleshooting, and execution of continuous improvement activities including Kaizen and 5S.

Qualifications

• Manpower handling experience preferred.
• Experience with spray painting processes and booth controls.
• Familiarity with pretreatment and rework procedures.
• Ability to analyze defects and troubleshoot.
• Shift operation oversight and cost-saving initiatives.
• Proficiency in process parameter monitoring and documentation.
• Knowledge of QA tests and record-keeping.
• Communicate effectively in Hindi for manpower management.

• Conduct quality tests such as DFT, adhesion, hardness, gloss, and curing verification.
• Maintain process documentation, production reports, and quality records.
• Implement cost‑saving, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement activities.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams for smooth operations.
