Job summary

ZF in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Operations Tech Lead to own the warehouse technology stack, including WMS, OMS, inventory management and fulfillment automation. You will evaluate third-party solutions and drive integration with supplier, distributor and retailer ERP systems.

You will design real-time inventory tracking, automated replenishment across warehouses and dark stores, and implement smart order routing to the nearest stock.

Qualifications

• 7-12 years in operations technology, warehouse systems or logistics tech, ideally in e‑commerce.
• Hands-on experience implementing or managing WMS/OMS systems.
• Strong inventory management knowledge and demand forecasting basics.
• Ability to work with Product, Engineering and Logistics teams.
• Experience with API integrations between ops platforms and supplier/logistics systems.
• Data-driven mindset with SQL; operations analytics.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers to build tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the operations tech stack: WMS, OMS, inventory management and fulfilment automation; evaluate third-party solutions.
• Lead integrations with supplier, distributor and retailer ERP systems, inventory feeds and catalog APIs.
• Design real-time inventory tracking and automated replenishment across supplier warehouses and transit nodes.
• Develop automated order routing to match buyer orders to nearest stock in real time.
• Improve automation and efficiency: slotting, procurement, batch picking/dispatch, reverse logistics.
• Build dashboards and alerting for inventory health, fill rates, SLA tracking and exceptions.
• Ensure ops-tech requirements are embedded in the core platform roadmap.

• Build and own the operations technology stack- WMS, OMS, inventory management, and fulfilment automation systems. Evaluate third-party ops tech solutions (WMS vendors, barcode/QR-based systems, route optimization tools)
• Lead integrations with supplier, distributor, retailer ERP systems, inventory feeds and catalog APIs
• Design and implement real-time inventory tracking and automated replenishment systems across supplier warehouses, dark stores and transit nodes
• Develop automated order routing logic- matching buyer orders to the nearest available inventory in real-time
• Improve automation and efficiency across operations- slotting, procurement, batch picking/ dispatch efficiency, reverse logistics
• Build operational dashboards and alerting systems for inventory health, fill rates, SLA tracking and exception management.
• Ensure ops-tech requirements are embedded in the core platform roadmap

Your profile as Operations Tech Lead(Logistics Warehouse- E Commerce)

• 7-12 Years in operations technology, warehouse systems, supply chain analytics, or logistics tech ideally in e-commerce or marketplace environment
• Hands‑on experience implementing or managing WMS (Manhattan, HighJump, Increff, or similar), OMS tool and TMS systems
• Strong understanding of inventory management‑ safety dock, reorder points, demand forecasting
• Ability to work closely with Product, Engineering, and Logistics teams
• Experience with API integrations between operations platforms and supplier/ logistics systems
• Data driven mindset- strong in SQL; operations analytics
• Ability to write basic scripts or work closely with engineers to build custom tooling
