Responsibilities

• Track stock levels, prevent shortages, and reduce excess holding costs.
• Logistics and Transport: Plan shipping routes, choose reliable carriers, and manage fleet or warehouse performance.
• Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts with suppliers and monitor vendor delivery times and quality.
• Process Improvement: Find bottlenecks in production or shipping and use lean methods to boost speed.
• Data and Reporting: Track KPIs like delivery times, error rates, and operating expenses.
• Risk Management: Create backup plans for supply delays, equipment failures, or sudden demand changes.
• Staff Leadership: Hire, train, and supervise warehouse, logistics, or production workers
