Job summary

Talent Corner Hr Services invites applications for an air freight operations role in Delhi. The candidate will book cargo space with airlines and manage bookings through to departure, prepare airway bills, and coordinate with customs brokers on shipping documentation.

The position requires handling time-critical shipments, express and next-flight-out cargo, with work in a 24-hour rotational shift pattern. Office is located in Mahipalpur, New Delhi, near IGI Airport.

Qualifications

• Air freight experience is essential.
• Experience with freight forwarder, courier or air cargo company is preferred.
• Working knowledge of export and import customs documentation.
• Office in Mahipalpur, New Delhi, near IGI Airport; on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Book cargo space with airlines and track bookings to departure.
• Prepare and check airway bills and shipment documents.
• Coordinate with customs brokers on shipping bills and entries.
• Handover and collect cargo at the IGI Airport cargo terminal.
• Track shipments and update customers until delivery.
• Handle time-critical, express and next-flight-out cargo.

Role:

• Book cargo space with airlines and follow each booking to departure
• Prepare and check airwaybills and shipment documents
• Coordinate with customs brokers on shipping bills and bills of entry
• Cargo handover and collection at the IGI Airport cargo terminal
• Track shipments and keep customers updated until delivery
• Handle time-critical shipments, express and next-flight-out cargo

Preferable:

• 1 to 5 years in air freight operations, export, import or both
• Experience with freight forwarder, courier or air cargo company
• Working knowledge of export and import customs documentation
• Lives in Delhi NCR, within reach of Mahipalpur

Note:

• Air freight experience is essential. Sea freight or road transport backgrounds are not a fit for this position.
• The office runs 24 hours on rotational shifts, including night shifts.
• Office in Mahipalpur, New Delhi, near IGI Airport. Work from office.
• Salary up to 40,000 a month gross, set by experience.
• 2 openings.
