Job summary

ATA is seeking a Senior Executive - Air Operations to manage day-to-day air export and import activities, coordinating with airlines, clients, and internal teams. The role requires frequent airline liaison, handling critical documentation, and regular airport visits for submission and follow-ups.

The candidate should have 5–7 years in air cargo/logistics operations, knowledge of DG shipments and IATA regulations is advantageous, and strong MS Office/ERP skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline; specialization in Logistics/International Trade preferred.
• 5–7 years of experience in Air Cargo/Logistics operations.
• Knowledge of DG shipments and IATA regulations will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate directly with airlines for booking, cargo space, and real-time shipment status.
• Prepare and validate error-free documentation for exports/imports, ensuring full compliance.
• Act as first point of escalation with airlines, customs, and ground handlers.
• Visit airports regularly for document submission, cargo release, and urgent issue resolution.
• Track cargo movement end-to-end and provide proactive updates to clients.
• Support finance with reconciliations, billing disputes, and credit note closure.
• Generate MIS reports, support audits, and maintain high data accuracy.
