Job summary

LevelUp Learning runs live online cohorts for creators in video editing, filmmaking, content creation and communication. Students join from all over India and learn from working professionals every weekend. Our job is to make every one of those weekends run properly.

You will run the live cohort, ensuring the mentor can teach, the recording runs, and students have what they need before and after each class. This role is weekend-focused with a 5–6 day week and a fixed day off midweek.

Qualifications

• Freshers welcome, 0–2 years in relevant roles.
• Experience with online classes or events is a plus.
• Strong English communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Do onboarding calls with new students and walk them through the programme, schedule, app and groups.
• Ensure every student has access to app, groups and class links before day one.
• Check mentor availability and update slots ahead of time.
• Send reminders and class links to students.
• Host live sessions: start, record, manage entry and screen sharing.
• Fix tech issues to prevent class disruptions.
• Moderate chat and manage student behaviour in class.
• Upload recordings post-session and track attendance.
• Provide student support for access, recordings and schedule questions.

LevelUp Learning runs live online cohorts for creators in video editing, filmmaking, content creation and communication. Students join from all over India and learn from working professionals every weekend. Our job is to make every one of those weekends run properly.

The role

You run the live cohort on the ground. While a class is live, you’re the person in the room making sure the mentor can teach, the recording is running and the students are in a good class. Before and after each class, you make sure everyone has what they need.

The one non-negotiable

Our classes happen on weekends. You work every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. You take your weekly off between Tuesday and Thursday, on a 5 or 6 day week. If you can’t work weekends, this role isn’t for you.

What you’ll do

Before the cohort starts

• Do onboarding calls with new students and walk them through the programme, the schedule, the app and the groups
• Make sure every student has access to the app, the groups and the class links before day one

Before every session

• Check mentor availability and confirm their slots well ahead of time
• Keep mentors updated so every session happens as planned
• Send students reminders and class links

During the session

• Host the call: start it, record it, let people in and manage screen sharing
• Fix the mentor’s tech issues so the class doesn’t stop
• Moderate the room: mute stray mics, manage the chat and keep student behaviour in check
• Handle anything else that comes up in class so the mentor can keep teaching

After the session

• Upload recordings to the app
• Send assignments and post-class updates to students
• Track attendance and submissions

Student support

• Be the first person students reach when something isn’t working, like app access, a missing recording or a schedule question
• Take the issue to the right person on the team, follow it until it’s fixed, then tell the student

Who we’re looking for

• Can work every Friday to Monday, every week
• Stays calm when a live class goes wrong, and fixes it
• Comfortable with Zoom or Google Meet, WhatsApp groups, Google Sheets and Drive
• Clear spoken and written English
• Organised, and follows up without being chased
• 0 to 2 years in operations, customer support, event coordination or edtech batch coordination. Freshers who have run college events or communities are welcome
• If you work from home: your own laptop, stable internet and power backup. A live class can’t drop because your WiFi did

Good to have

• You’ve hosted or moderated webinars or online classes before
• You’re into filmmaking, video editing or content creation

Where you work

From anywhere in India. If you’d rather work from an office, our Chennai office is open to you. Classes are online either way.
