Crane Worldwide Logistics is seeking a shipping professional to manage end-to-end Ocean Export operations in Chennai. You will plan shipments, prepare export documentation, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with brokers, lines, and agents to deliver timely, cost-effective shipments.

The role requires strong coordination with internal teams, attention to detail, and the ability to resolve issues quickly to minimize delays and costs.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and advanced Excel is essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, plus analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and coordinate Ocean-Export shipments end-to-end.
• Oversee documentation: invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, origin certificates.
• Ensure compliance with Indian export regulations and DGFT guidelines.
• Coordinate with NVOCCs, customs brokers, shipping lines, and transport providers.
• Track shipments and resolve delays and discrepancies proactively.
• Collaborate with sales, procurement, production, warehouse, and finance teams.

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing end-to-end Ocean Export operations, including shipment planning, export documentation, customs and shipping line coordination, compliance, shipment tracking, and issue resolution. The role requires strong coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant shipment execution.

Essential Job Functions:

• Planning and coordinating Ocean- Export shipments
• Managing end-to-end logistics operations from origin to destination
• Reviewing export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, bills of lading and certificates of origin
• Ensuring compliance with Indian export regulations, DGFT guidelines, and international trade requirements
• Coordinating with NVOCC’s, customs brokers, shipping lines, and transport providers, CFS etc.
• Tracking shipments and proactively resolving operational issues such as delays, documentation discrepancies.
• Collaborating with sales, procurement, production, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure timely shipment execution
• Monitoring logistics costs and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce delays
• Maintaining accurate records in Company system- TMF and ensuring audit-ready documentation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
