Job summary

Balmer Lawrie And Co Kolkata is seeking an Export Logistics Executive to manage end-to-end export documentation, shipment planning, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes coordination with DGFT, Customs, banks, and freight forwarders, ensuring timely execution of export orders, accurate records, and adherence to export incentive schemes.

Minimum 2 years' experience in sales or despatch within ERP and graduate in any discipline is required.

Qualifications

• End-to-end export documentation and shipment execution.
• Prepare commercial documents, vessel planning, container booking.
• Coordinate with DGFT, Customs, AD Banks, ECGC, and other bodies.
• Handle export banking, LC scrutiny, and export realization tracking.
• Administer RoDTEP, EPCG, IEC maintenance, and export incentives.
• Liaise with customers, freight forwarders, and internal teams for timely orders.
• Maintain export records, MIS, and regulatory compliance documentation.
• Possess 2 years of ERP-based despatch/sales experience.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end export documentation and shipment execution.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely shipments.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with export rules and bodies.
• Monitor export financing, LC checks, and realization tracking.
• Administer incentive schemes and licensing processes.
• Maintain records, MIS, and export-related reports.
• Collaborate with customers and forwarders for smooth order execution.
• Handle any additional duties as assigned.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Managing end-to-end export documentation and shipment execution, including preparation of commercial documents, vessel planning, container booking, shipment coordination, and post-shipment follow-up.
• 2. Ensuring compliance with export regulations and trade requirements through effective coordination with DGFT, Customs , AD Banks, ECGC, export promotion councils, certification agencies, and other regulatory bodies.
• 3. Handling export banking and trade finance activities, including Letter of Credit scrutiny, shipping bill closure, e- BRC monitoring, EDPMS compliance, and export realization tracking.
• 4. Administering export incentive and licensing schemes, including RoDTEP, EPCG, IEC maintenance, and other applicable export benefits.
• 5. Coordinating with customers, freight forwarders, consultants, production, dispatch, logistics, finance, and sales teams for timely and efficient execution of export orders.
• 6. Monitoring outstanding export receivables, payment realization, and related follow-up activities to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• 7. Maintaining export records, statutory documentation, MIS, and reports to support compliance, audit, and business requirements.
• 8. Performing any other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Experience - 2 years experience in sales or despatch in an ERP environment and /or handling despatch team

Education - Full Time Graduate (Any Discipline)

Preferred Experience - Candidates With Experience In Exim Documentation And Coordination For Manufacturing Organisation May Be Preferred

Preferred Qualification - Specialisation In Supply Chain Management / Logistics And/or Certificate Course In Export Documentation Or Equivalent
