Job summary

Neurealm in Chennai is seeking a proactive NOC Engineer L1 to monitor, troubleshoot, and support network and infrastructure operations across servers and applications. The role focuses on monitoring alerts, responding to incidents, and ensuring maximum uptime of critical systems.

You will perform initial troubleshooting, log incidents, escalate unresolved issues to L2/L3, and collaborate with internal teams and vendors during outages and maintenance to maintain service reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience in NOC operations or similar monitoring roles.
• Ability to monitor alerts, diagnose incidents and document actions.
• Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM concepts and ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network, server, and application performance using monitoring tools.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve Level 1 incidents and service disruptions.
• Acknowledge and respond to alerts, alarms, and support tickets within defined SLAs.
• Perform initial troubleshooting of network, hardware, and connectivity issues.
• Escalate unresolved issues to L2/L3 teams and track resolution progress.
• Maintain incident logs, troubleshooting records, and operational reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors during outages and maintenance activities.
• Monitor backup jobs, system health checks, and scheduled tasks.
• Ensure adherence to operational procedures, security policies, and compliance requirements.
• Participate in shift-based operations, including weekends and holidays, as required.
