Job summary

CodeChavo in Gurugram is seeking a NOC / L1 Production Support Engineer to monitor and support production infrastructure, applications, and services. You will handle incident detection, first-level troubleshooting, alert management, and SLA-based escalation.

Responsibilities include monitoring dashboards, log analysis, basic Linux, cloud, and networking troubleshooting, and supporting Docker and Kubernetes environments, while coordinating with DevOps and other teams in a 24x7 shift model.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience in NOC or production support.
• Strong Linux with monitoring tools.
• Basic troubleshooting and log analysis.
• Familiar with networking basics: DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, APIs, load balancers.
• Experience with Jira or ServiceNow.
• Willing to work in a 24x7 shift model.

The role involves incident detection, L1 troubleshooting, alert management, escalation, and coordination with DevOps, Cloud, Network, Infrastructure, and Application teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor production infrastructure, applications, services, and dashboards.
• Validate alerts and perform first-level troubleshooting.
• Analyse logs, metrics, and dashboards to identify issues.
• Troubleshoot basic Linux, application, cloud, and networking issues.
• Handle incidents and ensure timely escalation based on SLA.
• Monitor AWS/cloud infrastructure and perform basic health checks.
• Support environments running on Docker and Kubernetes.
• Maintain incident logs and shift handovers.

Required Skills

• 1–4 years of experience in NOC, Production Support, Infrastructure Support, Cloud Operations, or L1 DevOps.
• Good understanding of Linux and monitoring tools.
• Experience in log analysis and basic troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Networking, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, APIs, and Load Balancers.
• Basic understanding of AWS/Cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of Incident Management and SLA-based support.
• Familiarity with Jira, ServiceNow, or similar ticketing tools.
• Comfortable working in 24x7 rotational shifts.

Preferred Skills

Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, ELK/Kibana, Jenkins, CI/CD, Bash/Scripting, Ansible, and production support experience.
