Job summary

Responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot enterprise network, server, and voice infrastructure using monitoring tools (Zabbix, PRTG, SolarWinds) or equivalent.
• Resolve network issues including link down, latency, packet loss, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, VPN, wireless, and ISP connectivity.
• Support VoIP, SIP, PRI, IP Telephony, Voice Dialer, SMS/Voice platforms, and related services.
• Perform basic Linux administration, log analysis, and service troubleshooting.
• Manage incidents, perform RCA, and elevate complex issues to L3 teams/vendors.
• Coordinate with internal teams, ISPs, field engineers, and vendors to ensure timely resolution.
• Support deployments, new site openings, and network changes.
• Maintain incident documentation, shift handovers, and operational reports to ensure SLA compliance.

We are seeking an experienced NOC Engineer (L2) to support and maintain enterprise network and voice infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in network monitoring, incident management, VoIP technologies, Linux administration, routing & switching, and troubleshooting production environments. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to resolve incidents while ensuring high service availability and SLA compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot enterprise network, server, and voice infrastructure using monitoring tools such as Zabbix, PRTG, SolarWinds, or equivalent.
• Resolve network issues including link down, latency, packet loss, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, VPN, wireless, and ISP connectivity.
• Support VoIP, SIP, PRI, IP Telephony, Voice Dialer, SMS/Voice platforms, and related services.
• Perform basic Linux administration, log analysis, and service troubleshooting.
• Manage incidents, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and elevate complex issues to L3 teams or vendors.
• Coordinate with internal teams, ISPs, telecommunications providers, field engineers, and third‑party vendors to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Support infrastructure deployments, new site/store openings, and network changes.
• Maintain incident documentation, shift handovers, and operational reports while ensuring SLA compliance.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience supporting enterprise NOC environments, preferably across 100+ remote locations.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI Model, Routing & Switching, VLANs, Subnetting, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wireless Networking, and ISP Connectivity.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco networking technologies (Huawei experience is a plus).
• Experience supporting store/branch infrastructure in retail, restaurant, hospitality, or other distributed enterprise environments.
• Experience with VoIP, SIP, PRI, IP Telephony, Voice Dialer systems, and troubleshooting call quality issues.
• Good understanding of Linux administration and networking concepts.
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as Zabbix, PRTG, SolarWinds, Nagios, Grafana, or similar NMS solutions.
• Experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM/ticketing tools.
• Knowledge of Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, or similar platforms is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced operational environment.
• Strong communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.

Nice to Have

• CCNA certification.
• Experience with Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or SD‑WAN technologies.
• Microsoft Intune administration experience.
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience supporting restaurant, retail, or hospitality technology environments.
• Experience in infrastructure rollout, project coordination, or new site deployments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
• Experience working in a 24x7 NOC/Infrastructure Support environment.
