Job summary

Aptiv in Kerala is seeking an experienced Tooling Design Engineer to design and develop press tools, progressive dies, and stamping dies. You will create detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings, coordinating with production, tool room, and quality teams throughout tool development.

The role requires a Diploma/Post Diploma in Tool & Die Making or Tool Design with 5+ years of hands-on experience in progressive/compound dies, sheet metal stamping tools, and plastic injection mold design.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Post Diploma in Tool & Die Making, Tool Design.
• 5+ years of experience.
• Experience in designing Progressive Dies, Compound Dies, and Sheet Metal Stamping Tools.
• Proficiency in NX, CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software.
• Strong understanding of sheet metal forming processes, GD&T, and tooling manufacturing practices.
• Experience in Plastic Injection Mold Design.

Responsibilities
