Job summary

Aptiv in India (Kerala) seeks an experienced Mold Designer to design and develop press tools, progressive dies, and stamping dies. You will create detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings, coordinating with production, tool room, and quality teams throughout tool development.

Diploma / Post Diploma in Tool & Die Making or Tool Design is required, with 5+ years in progressive/compound dies and sheet metal tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in mold/tool design.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and tooling manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities

Qualification

Experience

• 5+ years of experience.
• Hands-on experience in designing Progressive Dies, Compound Dies, and Sheet Metal Stamping Tools.
• Proficiency in NX, CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software.
• Strong understanding of sheet metal forming processes, GD&T, and tooling manufacturing practices.
• Experience in Plastic Injection Mold Design
