Job summary

Aptiv PLC in India (Kerala, Ernakulam) seeks a Mold Designer to design and develop press tools, progressive dies, and stamping dies. You will create detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings, coordinating with production, tool room and quality teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in tool design, hands-on experience with progressive and sheet metal tools, and proficient CAD skills (NX, CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD). Knowledge of GD&T and tooling manufacturing practices is a must.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Post Diploma in Tool & Die Making or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Press Tool / Stamping Die Design.
• Strong CAD skills in NX, CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD.

Title: Mold Designer

Qualification

• Diploma / Post Diploma in Tool & Die Making, Tool Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Press Tool / Stamping Die Design.
• Hands-on experience in designing Progressive Dies, Compound Dies, and Sheet Metal Stamping Tools.
• Proficiency in NX, CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software.
• Strong understanding of sheet metal forming processes, GD&T, and tooling manufacturing practices.
• Experience in Plastic Injection Mold Design.
