Job summary

Fortune Enterprises is seeking an Appare l Merchandiser/Sr. Apparel Merchandiser to master the complete merchandising cycle from product development to order execution.

You will coordinate with buyers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality garments. The ideal candidate has 2–20 years of apparel merchandising experience, with strong knowledge of garment manufacturing, costing, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in fashion/production related field.
• 2–20 years apparel merchandising experience (domestic or export).
• Strong garment manufacturing and merchandising workflow knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with buyers, vendors, and production teams throughout the order lifecycle.
• Manage product development, sampling, costing, and order confirmations.
• Prepare and monitor Time & Action (T&A) calendars for timely execution.
• Follow up on fabric, trims, sampling, approvals, and production schedules.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and commercial terms with suppliers.
• Ensure product quality standards at every production stage.
• Coordinate with QA and Production to resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor inventory requirements and material availability.
• Track order status and provide regular updates to buyers and management.
• Ensure compliance with buyer specs, quality standards, and documentation.
• Work with logistics to facilitate timely shipments.
• Maintain records of orders, approvals and communications.
• Analyze production performance and identify process improvements.

About the Role

We are looking for proactive and detail-oriented Apparel Merchandisers/Sr. Merchandisers to manage the complete merchandising cyclefrom product development to order execution. The ideal candidate should possess strong coordination skills, a good understanding of garment manufacturing, and the ability to work closely with buyers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

• Strong understanding of garment manufacturing processes and merchandising workflows.
• Knowledge of fabrics, trims, garment construction, and costing.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
• High attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
