Job summary

talentwaveservice in Kolkata is seeking an experienced Merchandiser to manage the end-to-end order process for our buying house operations, coordinating with international buyers, suppliers and internal teams from product development to shipment.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, costing, production and export documentation, with a proven ability to negotiate, track orders, ensure on-time delivery and maintain accurate order MIS.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key point of contact between international buyers and vendors.
• Understand buyer requirements, specifications, and product expectations.
• Develop samples and get buyer approvals for fabrics, trims, and styles.
• Negotiate prices, costing, and timelines with suppliers.
• Follow up on production schedules, quality checks, and order status.
• Ensure on-time delivery of samples, bulk production, and shipments.
• Coordinate with QA, logistics, and documentation teams for smooth order execution.
• Maintain and update order tracking reports and MIS regularly.
• Handle buyer communication professionally and resolve issues promptly.
