Job summary

Shashwath Solution seeks an experienced Apparel Merchandiser to lead sample development and manage end-to-end production for trouser lines. You will coordinate with buyers, design and production teams to confirm orders, develop proto and shipment samples, and ensure on-time deliveries.

The role requires strong fabrics knowledge, negotiation and communication skills, and proficiency in ERP/PLM tools and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Apparel Technology, Textile Engineering or related field.
• Experience in apparel merchandising, sample development and buyer communication is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, fit, and production processes for trousers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with buyers for order confirmation, sample approvals, and feedback.
• Develop samples (proto, fit, PP, and shipment) with design and production teams.
• Conduct product costing, negotiate prices, and finalize order terms.
• Plan and monitor production timelines to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Liaise with production, quality, fabric, trims, and logistics teams.
• Ensure specifications and quality standards are met and tracked.
• Maintain TNA calendars and inform stakeholders of status.
• Track orders from development to shipment and post-delivery analysis.
• Communicate and resolve issues with vendors and suppliers.
• Stay updated with market trends, fabrics, and competitor analysis.

• Stay updated with market trends, fabric developments, and competitor analysis.
