Shahi is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Apparel Merchandiser Executive based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end product development process, particularly for woven garments, and will coordinate closely with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely execution of samples and bulk production.

Key responsibilities include analyzing tech packs, negotiating with suppliers for pricing, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate garment costing and tracking order statuses throughout the development phases.

Responsibilities

• Handle product development activities for woven garments from concept to production.
• Coordinate with buyers on style development, costing, sample approvals, and order execution.
• Develop and maintain Time & Action (T&A) calendars to ensure on-time delivery.
• Work closely with design, sourcing, production, quality, and planning teams.
• Analyze tech packs, garment construction details, and buyer requirements.
• Coordinate fabric, trims, and accessory sourcing for development and production.
• Prepare accurate garment costing and negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing.
• Monitor sample development stages, approvals, and bulk production readiness.
• Track order status and proactively resolve issues related to product development and execution.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, buyer requirements, and company procedures.
• Maintain product development records, reports, and merchandising documentation.
