Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all MEP designs and site execution comply with NBC requirements, applicable building codes, safety regulations, and relevant industry standards.
- Coordinate with the internal Design Team to ensure timely delivery of detailed drawings in accordance with company standards and project requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections as per project requirements and coordinate with execution teams to identify and resolve technical issues, drawing discrepancies, and site constraints.
- Verify and Ensure all works are executed as per approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and company norms.
- Monitor and ensure that required electrical safety certificates and permits are obtained and maintained for activities such as work at height, hot work, lifting operations, and other applicable site activities.
- Identify project risks, technical challenges, and execution constraints, and implement timely corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage site pressure and multiple project priorities effectively while ensuring timely project delivery in line with company standards and commitments.
- Maintain effective communication and coordination with internal teams, clients, site supervisors, electrical teams, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor site progress and proactively highlight delays, technical concerns, material requirements, and dependencies to the concerned stakeholders.
- Ensure that testing, commissioning, snag rectification, and final project handover activities to actual client are completed as per applicable standards and projectrequirements.
- Ensure proper documentation of site inspections, technical observations, testing and commissioning records, snag lists, and project handover documents.
SKILLS AND EXPERTISE
- Good knowledge on electrical house wiring and site execution.
- Experience in working in an MEP consultant/company for at least 3 years.
- Good understanding of NBC and applicable building standards and codes.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under site pressure and meet project timelines.
- Ability to work with multiple internal and external stake holders
- Excellent communication, Interpersonal skills, coordination, and team-management skills.
