Job summary

SRI Ramasamy Memorial Holdings, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, seeks an experienced Construction Coordinator to oversee electrical projects for residential complexes, high-end villas, and institutional sites. You will coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, procurement, SRM Management and project management to deliver quality on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating with architects, consultants and contractors on large residential or institutional projects.
• Knowledge of BOQ, GFC drawings, and IS standards.
• Strong focus on quality, time and budget adherence.

Responsibilities

• Consultant and PMC and ensure the latest GFC drawings are followed for execution of work.
• Coordinate consultant and ensure BOQ specifications are shared through drawings for contractor execution.
• Ensure contractors follow specifications, latest GFC drawings, quality, time and budget.
• Coordinate with consultant to receive and share BOQs with procurement for tendering and contract award on time.
• Certify bills as per work orders and maintain cash flow to finish on time.
• Ensure samples match approved makes and test results meet parameters per IS standards and tender conditions.
• Attend meetings and provide project reports daily/weekly/fortnightly/monthly on time.
• Discuss foreseen risks with mitigation and corrective/remedial actions without delaying timelines.

Job description

To coordinate with architect / consultant / contractor / procurement / SRM Management and Project management and ensure the project is completed as per drawing without any compromise on quality, time and ensure expenses are met within the budgeted value.

Role & responsibilities

• Consultant and PMC and ensure the latest GFC drawings are being followed for execution of work.
• Coordinating consultant and ensure the specification as mentioned in the boq are shared through drawing and is being forwarded to contractor for execution
• Ensuring the contractors are following the specification , latest GFC drawing, and executing it without any compromise on quality, time and budget
• Coordinating with the consultant and ensure that all boqs are received and shared with the procurement for floating the tender and award of job within the agreed time frame.
• Certification of bills as per agreed work order timelines and ensure smooth cash flow is maintained to complete the project on time.
• Ensuring all samples are as per approved makes and test results are obtained and matched to the agreed parameters and ensured that quality is not compromised and work is executed as per IS standards and tender conditions
• Attending all meetings and review of project on daily, weekly, fornight and monthly and ensure the reports are shared on time.
• Any risk that are foreseen are discussed in detail with the mitigation plan and corrective measures or remedial measures are taken for the benefit of project without affecting the time lines, quality and budget.

Desired profile

• Electrical Candidates can be with minimum 10 + years of experience in handling residential complexes /high end villa projects / institutional projects with the current role holding responsible both for technical soft and hard services shall be given preference.
