Job summary

Uberlife Consulting is seeking an experienced MEP Electrical Engineer to coordinate with architects, PMC, and contractors to ensure quality and timely project completion within budget. You will verify GFC drawings, BoQ specifications, and IS standard compliance while managing procurement and tender processes.

The role requires 10+ years of experience in residential complexes or institutional projects with responsibility for both technical and soft services.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in MEP electrical for residential, high-end villa, or institutional projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with architect/PMC/contractor to ensure latest GFC drawings are followed for execution.
• Ensure BoQ specifications are reflected in drawings and forwarded to contractors.
• Monitor adherence to specifications, drawings, quality, time, and budget.
• Coordinate with architect/consultant to obtain all BoQs and share with procurement for tendering and awards.
• Certify bills as per work orders and maintain smooth cash flow to meet timelines.
• Verify samples meet approved makes and test results per IS standards and tender conditions.
• Attend daily/weekly/fortnightly/monthly reviews and share reports on time.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation, corrective or remedial actions.

Job description

Role:

To coordinate with architect / consultant / contractor / procurement / Management and Project management and ensure the project is completed as per drawing without any compromise on quality, time and ensure expenses are met within the budgeted value.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating with the architect / consultant and PMC and ensure the latest GFC drawings are being followed for execution of work.
• Coordinating with the architect / consultant and ensure the specification as mentioned in the boq are shared through drawing and is being forwarded to contractor for execution
• Ensuring the contractors are following the specification , latest GFC drawing, and executing it without any compromise on quality, time and budget
• Coordinating with the architect / consultant and ensure that all boqs are received and shared with the procurement for floating the tender and award of job within the agreed time frame.
• Certification of bills as per agreed work order timelines and ensure smooth cash flow is maintained to complete the project on time.
• Ensuring all samples are as per approved makes and test results are obtained and matched to the agreed parameters and ensured that quality is not compromised and work is executed as per IS standards and tender conditions
• Attending all meetings and review of project on daily, weekly, fornight and monthly and ensure the reports are shared on time.
• Any risk that are foreseen are discussed in detail with the mitigation plan and corrective measures or remedial measures are taken for the benefit of project without affecting the time lines, quality and budget.

Requirements:

• MEP Engineer Electrical Candidates can be with minimum 10 + years of experience in handling residential complexes /high end villa projects / institutional projects with the current role holding responsible both for technical soft and hard services shall be given preference.
