Job summary

Smartworld Developers is seeking a senior MEP Electrical lead to plan, coordinate, and deliver electrical works across large residential and commercial projects. You will review drawings, manage HT/LT, DG, panels, lighting, and life-safety systems, while coordinating with multiple trades to ensure timely delivery and compliance.

You will also oversee procurement, vendor negotiations, and approvals, and drive testing, commissioning, and final handover of MEP systems.

Qualifications

• 15-25 years of experience in real estate projects.
• Strong hands-on experience in Electrical MEP execution for large-scale residential/commercial projects.
• Knowledge of MEP coordination, project planning, contracts, procurement and contractor management.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end MEP execution with primary focus on Electrical works at project sites.
• Review and approve electrical drawings, BOQs, specifications, layouts, and technical submittals.
• Manage electrical systems including HT/LT, DG, transformers, panels, power distribution, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, ELV, fire alarm and BMS coordination.
• Coordinate with Civil, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Architecture, Consultants and Contractors for seamless project execution.
• Monitor contractors/subcontractors for quality, progress, safety and adherence to specifications.
• Handle MEP procurement, vendor evaluation, technical negotiations and material approvals.
• Ensure execution as per approved drawings, project timelines, statutory requirements and applicable codes.
• Identify and resolve site-level technical issues and coordinate with consultants for design clarifications.
• Monitor project budgets, variations, measurements and MEP-related commercial aspects.
• Ensure testing, commissioning, snagging and final handover of MEP systems.
