The role involves coordinating HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting and ELV works, reviewing MEP drawings, shop drawings and BOQs, and ensuring safety and compliance on site.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech/ Diploma in mechanical or electrical engg with relevant MEP knowledge.
• Experience coordinating MEP activities on commercial or residential projects.
• Ability to read drawings and prepare/ review specifications and BOQs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and monitor MEP construction activities on site.
• Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Fighting and ELV works.
• Review MEP drawings, shop drawings, BOQs and specs.
• Ensure works meet approved drawings, specs and safety standards.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, architectural and finishing teams.
• Supervise contractors and ensure timely completion of MEP works.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning and handover of MEP systems.
• Maintain site records and documentation for inspections.

Job Summary

Gopalan Enterprises is looking for an experienced MEP Engineer to manage and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing activities at the construction site, ensuring execution as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and monitor MEP construction activities at the project site.
• Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Fighting, and ELV works.
• Review and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
• Coordinate MEP works with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing teams.
• Supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure proper execution of MEP works.
• Ensure installation is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify design or execution issues.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
• Monitor material requirements, approvals, deliveries, and usage at site.
• Track project progress and ensure MEP works are completed within scheduled timelines.
• Coordinate with consultants, vendors, contractors, and project management teams.
• Maintain inspection reports, checklists, site records, and MEP documentation.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and statutory requirements.

Key Skills
