Job summary

CIEL HR is recruiting an MEP Engineer for a high-rise residential project in Surat. You will design, install, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure safety, efficiency, and code compliance.

The role requires 5–7 years of experience in similar projects, strong expertise in HVAC, electrical and piping systems, and the ability to coordinate with architects and engineers. Fluent in Hindi and English, you will contribute to on-site execution and testing.

Qualifications

• BE Civil/Electrical/Mechanical degree is required.
• 5–7 years of experience in high-rise residential projects.
• Language skills: Hindi and English.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and maintain MEP systems including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
• Develop detailed design drawings with load calculations and material selection.
• Coordinate with architects, civil engineers and stakeholders to integrate MEP into project schedule.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Oversee on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP components.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during design and construction.
• Implement quality control measures and conduct inspections.

Job description

An MEP Engineer in construction designs, installs, and maintains mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, ensuring they are efficient, safe, and compliant with codes.

Project Management: Contribute to project management by preparing cost estimates, managing project timelines, and documenting project information and contracts.

Work Experience 5 to 7 years of experience in high rise residential project.

Design & Specification: Develop detailed design drawings for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, including load calculations and material selection.

• Coordination: Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate MEP systems into the overall building design and project schedule.

• Compliance: Ensure all MEP systems comply with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

• Installation Oversight: Supervise the installation of MEP components on-site, ensuring proper execution and adherence to design specifications

• Testing & Commissioning: Manage and oversee the testing and commissioning of installed systems to verify functionality and performance.

• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues related to MEP systems during the design and construction phases.

• Quality Control: Implement quality control measures and conduct inspections to ensure the high-quality installation and functioning of systems.
