Job summary

Keystone Realty Group seeks a skilled Cost Estimator for MEP services in Thane, India. You will prepare cost estimates across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, firefighting and ELV systems, review drawings and tender docs, and conduct BOM and cost analyses.

Collaborate with design, procurement and project teams to ensure accuracy and cost efficiency. Experience in residential high-rise or commercial real estate projects is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and construction cost estimation.
• Experience in BOQ preparation, quantity surveying, rate analysis, and tendering.
• Proficiency in use of estimation tools and Excel for cost analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for MEP services (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, ELV).
• Review drawings, BOQs, tender docs, and specs to determine costs.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost analysis for materials, labour, and installation works.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
• Prepare rate analysis, comparative statements, budgets and tender submissions.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, project and contracts teams to validate quantities and costing.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring compliance with specs and quality.
• Review contractor quotations, variation claims, and revised estimates.
• Support budget preparation, cost monitoring, and reconciliation of estimated vs actual costs.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and construction cost estimation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel; knowledge of estimation tools is preferred.
• Experience in BOQ preparation, quantity surveying, rate analysis, and tendering.
• Strong vendor negotiation, analytical, and coordination skills.
• Experience in residential high-rise or commercial real estate projects preferred.
