Job summary

Sobha Projects Trade in Pune is seeking an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor/Cost Controller to manage billing, invoicing, and cost reporting on complex interior fit-out projects. You will prepare and submit RA bills, interim bills, and final invoices, and perform take-offs from drawings and site inspections.

You will verify invoices from vendors, track variations, reconcile budgets with actuals, and prepare MIS reports for project managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Quantity Surveying certification required.
• 3 to 10+ years of relevant MEP construction or interior fit-out experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and ERP tools like SAP.

Responsibilities

• Billing & Invoicing: Prepare and submit accurate Running Account (RA) bills, interim bills, and final client invoices.
• Quantity Take-offs: Accurately measure MEP quantities from structural drawings, layouts, and site inspections.
• Verification: Review, certify, and process invoices submitted by MEP vendors and subcontractors.
• Variation & Change Management: Track alterations to the original project scope, calculate price adjustments, and secure approvals.
• Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations between budgeted costs, actual expenses, and billed amounts.
• Budgeting & Reporting: Monitor project expenses to prevent cost overruns and prepare routine financial MIS reports for project managers.
