Job summary

Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited in Mumbai invites dynamic science graduates to join our field sales team. You will generate prescriptions through medical professionals and promote our products across doctors and pharmacists.

The role requires strong communication, willingness to travel across India, and owning a two-wheeler with a valid license. Location is Mumbai with field visits nationwide.

Qualifications

• Basic scientific knowledge relevant to pharmaceutical products.
• Excellent communication skills for doctor and pharmacist interactions.
• Willingness to travel and relocate anywhere in India.
• Candidate must own a two-wheeler and license.

Responsibilities

• Carry out effective field work to achieve and surpass budget by generating prescriptions from HCPs.
• Prepare Pre Call Plans by performing RCPA and entering accurate information in the system.
• Demonstrate and promote products to doctors and pharmacists per division guidelines.
• Maintain regular customer conversions and minimize prescriber loss by building relationships.
• Ensure product availability at pharmacies to fulfill doctor prescriptions and complete POBs.
• Create or update Doctor/Chemist lists as per division guidelines.
• Support new product launches by implementing division-suggested strategies.

Job description

• 1. Carrying out effective field work to achieve and surpass the assigned budget by generation of prescriptions through medical professionals (HCPs).
• 2. Carrying out the effective RCPA and entering the correct information in the system and prepare / set objective (Pre Call Planning) for every Doctor call.
• 3. Demonstrate and promote products to HCPs (doctors and pharmacists) as per the guidelines provided by the division to generate maximum prescriptions.
• 4. Ensure regular customer conversion, no prescriber loss by following the division strategy by building effective relationship.
• 5. Ensure the sufficient availability of the products at the pharmacists to honor the Doctor prescription and do the required number of POBs as per the division norms.
• 6. Create / update the effective Doctor / Chemist list as per the division guidelines.
• 7. Ensure the success of new launches by implementing the strategies suggested by the division.
