Job summary

Kamtress Automation Systems in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design and develop mechanical components using CAD tools and to create precise 2D drawings and 3D models for manufacturing. You will perform tolerancing calculations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 45 years of experience in mechanical design.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Solid Edge)
• Knowledge of GD&T and materials selection
• Familiarity with design standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Exposure to or experience working with ERP systems (preferably SAP) is a strong advantage.
• Willingness and ability to travel for technical meetings, client discussions, and on-site support as required.
